About West Side Grows Together
West Side Grows Together is a resident-driven community development organization rooted in the belief that lasting change begins with the people who call a neighborhood home. Through grassroots organizing, leadership development, creative placemaking, and community partnerships, we work alongside residents to strengthen Wilmington’s West Side. Following the screening, West Side Grows Together staff and community members will lead a panel discussion connecting the film’s themes of resilience, civic engagement, and rebuilding with the everyday work of neighborhood-led change happening right here in Wilmington.
Join us for an evening of film, conversation, and community as we reflect on the power of grassroots leadership, explore how ordinary people create extraordinary change, and discover how each of us can help build stronger, more connected neighborhoods.
