Theme-based Screenwriting
The festival hosted Screenwriting Contest in which contestants were to develop a script on a given theme.
The Theme for this year’s inaugural competition was
“Row Homes in Your City”
(8-10 pages, any genre, fiction/true story).
Categories: Youth (18 & under) & Adult (18 & over).
The challenge was designed to discover and celebrate fresh screenwriting talent. It is to develop compelling stories that highlight the unique character of Row Homes In Your City, offering a platform for new voices and fostering the creation of original content. This contest aims to engage both youth and adult writers in creative storytelling inspired by a truly iconic local theme.
The Grand Prize is that the winning script will be produced into a short film by the Film Brothers Productions in 2027!
